The British television channel Channel 4 will release a new documentary about Princess Diana’s fatal car accident on August 21. The series Investigating Diana: Death In Paris is about the accident and its aftermath. Producer Henry Singer hopes to put an end to all the conspiracy theories surrounding the accident.
The documentary features, among others, the French and British police officers who investigated the accident. According to British media, this is the first time the detectives have spoken about the investigation.
Diana died in a car accident on August 31, 1997 at the age of 36. The ex-wife of Prince Charles was being pursued by paparazzi at the time.
Many conspiracy theories arose as to whether the crash was really an accident. These theories have been refuted.
It is not the only documentary to be released 25 years after Diana’s death. Already this coming weekend, the film The Princess will be released on streaming service HBO Max.
